Poland has been recognized by Spain as a risk country since Monday due to the growing number of coronavirus infections. This means a change for travelers.

The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Spain informed in a post on Twitter that from Monday, September 27, travelers from Poland to Spain must have one of the following certificates: vaccination against COVID-19, negative test result, and passing COVID-19.

In the case of tests, certificates of the result of the NAAT test (eg PCR) within 72 hours before arrival in Spain or the certificate of the result of the antigen test performed within 48 hours of arrival in Spain will be accepted.

Additionally, when traveling by air or sea, it is necessary to complete sanitary form.

Until now, before leaving Poland for Spain, it was only necessary to fill in a sanitary form. “If the country / region from which you are traveling to Spain by air or sea is not on the risk list, you only need to fill out the Spain Travel Health-SpTH sanitary form before departure,” we read on the website of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Coronavirus in Poland

The Polish Ministry of Health announced on Sunday about 643 new confirmed cases of coronavirus infection. which means an increase of 19 percent. compared to the previous Sunday. At that time, the Ministry of Health reported 540 confirmed infections.

The average number of confirmed infections per day, calculated on the basis of data from the last seven days, has increased to 758 and is the highest since June 1.
