The government is working on legislation to allow employers to verify that an employee is vaccinated against COVID-19. For this purpose, you will need to provide confirmation in the form of a covid certificate. – I hope that on Monday we will be able to discuss it at the Standing Committee of the Council of Ministers, and perhaps also at the Council of Ministers – said health minister Adam Niedzielski in the TVN24 program.

– We are working on these regulations. First of all, we are working on making it possible for the employer to verify whether the employee is vaccinated so that he can create and organize a safe working environment – pointed out Adam Niedzielski.

– Very often we have sections or departments that work more intensively, for example with clients, have a lot of external contacts, it is natural that when creating a safe work environment, there are people who are safe in an epidemic sense, are vaccinated, and to a lesser extent are susceptible to the disease or the infection itself – pointed out the head of the Ministry of Health.

As Niedzielski explained, the employer “will have the right to ask and on this basis make a possible decision to transfer to another part of the duties performed”. He added that the employee will have to show proof of vaccination, which is a covid certificate. – Without showing this proof, of course, one must admit that there was no such vaccination, and on the other hand, the falsification of this document is a normal forgery – said the Minister of Health.

The head of the Ministry of Health was asked when the regulations in this matter will be ready. – We are aiming for the next session of the Sejm. At the moment, we are conducting internal consultations with various ministries about what the specific shape of these provisions should be. I hope that on Monday or next week we will be able to discuss it at the Standing Committee of the Council of Ministers, and perhaps also at the Council of Ministers – pointed out Adam Niedzielski. As he said, there were working talks for the committee to deal with this project next Monday.
