Confederation MP Grzegorz Braun, together with a group of anti-vaccines, entered my office on Monday – said Dr. Grzegorz Cessak, president of the Office for Registration of Medicinal Products, Medical Devices and Biocidal Products, in “Yes,” on TVN24. He explained that the group expected “insight into clinical trials of the population under 12”.
The President of the Office for Registration of Medicinal Products, Medical Devices and Biocidal Products, Dr. Grzegorz Cessak informed in “Yes,” on TVN24 that on Monday “he had an unusual event” in his office. – Without making an appointment with me in advance, say under the slogan “parliamentary control”, Mr (Grzegorz) Braun (Confederation) entered with a group of journalists and anti-vaccine workers – he said. When asked if there were indeed journalists there, and if he could identify them, he replied that “one person might do”. “The rest are people I don’t know, so it’s hard for me to say whether they are journalists or simply an anti-vaccine group,” he explained.
– I have not had such a situation so far. Of course, parliamentary inspections do happen, but they are always in a certain culture, discussion, and, above all, understanding the topic, he said.
He added that no one agreed with him on the intention to carry out this inspection. “My office was forced into it,” said Cessak. He assessed it as bad that such situations are being fueled by parliamentarians.
When asked what these people were expecting, he said he had “insight into clinical trials of a population under 12 years of age.” Cessak, said the focus was “more on the show, which was streamed on YouTube, than on learning about clinical trials in the pediatric population.”
He judged it to be an “anti-vaccine happening”. – Of course, I was required to have documents that cannot be transferred under parliamentary control – he added.
