Cosmetic products withdrawn from the market. GIS warning

The Chief Sanitary Inspectorate (GIS) has issued a public warning regarding three cosmetic products from Markwins Beauty Brands. According to the office, they have been withdrawn from the market.

Following information from Markwins Beauty Brands, GIS has announced that the following beauty products have been recalled from the market:

– Pop GIRL Beauty Vanity Case (reference number n.1539022E; EAN 4 038033 390221, lot number: n.6220035W and n.6210057W); – Pop GIRL Mini Beauty Case Set (Ref. No. 1539011E; EAN 4 038033 390115, Lot No.: 6220008W and No. 6210055W); – LOL Triple Layer Tin – EAN reference number 050051822243 Item: 1482224E, lot number: 1F01.

Products withdrawn from the market – reasons

GIS reported that the first two products are “recalld due to the content of dyes that are not allowed for use, the content of a preservative that is not allowed for use in products left on the skin (methylisothiazolinone / methylchloroisothiazolinone mixture) and the fact that another preservative is not listed in the list of ingredients (2 -bromo-2-nitropropane-1,3-diol).

In turn, the third product “is recalled due to the fact that the preservative – benzyl benzoate and the dye Cl 15865 are not included in the list of ingredients”.
