The best complete of weekly coronavirus-related deaths have been recorded in England and Wales since March, newest figures present.
There have been 571 deaths registered within the week ending on 13 August, in accordance with the Workplace for Nationwide Statistics – a rise of 8% on the earlier week.
That is the best quantity since 719 fatalities had been recorded within the week to 26 March.
About 5.5% – one in 18 – of all deaths registered within the week ending on 13 August talked about COVID-19 on the loss of life certificates.
Throughout the earlier week, 527 fatalities had been recorded.
