The Voluntary Acquisition Program (VAP) already includes almost 4,000 hectares. In total, almost 900 applications were submitted, including almost 500 in the area covered by the location decision. This resulted in the acquisition of a number of properties and obtaining applications for VAP for a total of about 80 percent of the future airport area – CPK company informed on Friday, August 16.
What's next for CPK? The company is taking over more land
In July, CPK representatives once again contacted people who had not yet joined the PDN since the beginning of its implementation. This concerned 50 addresses. The effect of individual meetings is another 31 applications, which were received from property owners.
– It enabled property owners to take advantage of a number of benefits that were not available under the traditional administrative procedure – said Filip Czernicki, president of CPK. In May this year, in an interview with “Republic” he said that the company would like to launch a voluntary acquisition program as part of railway investments.

Those who join the voluntary acquisition program gain a guarantee of selling their property with bonuses at the level of 140 percent of the building value and 120 percent of the land value. Another option is a valuation that takes into account the replacement value of the property without the degree of wear and tear, where the company pays, for example, for a 100-meter house from the 1960s as for a new one of the same size.
The location decision regarding the future CPK airport area is expected by the end of this year, and the voluntary acquisition program is entering the next phase of implementation. The next steps will concern areas related to rail investments, and first of all the Warsaw-Łódź connection, which is part of the “igrek” line, i.e. the CPK investment priority.
