The driver of the car in the center of Krakow drove onto a tram track and got stuck on the tracks. She explained to the city guards that this was her navigation. As it turned out, the woman was drunk.
At 3 a.m. on Friday, Krakow city guards received a report about a car stuck on the tram track on Dietla Street.
The tracks in this place are clearly separated from the road – between the road and the tram route there are trees, sidewalks and a fence. This did not prevent the driver from entering the tracks, but she was later unable to leave them. Her translation was surprising.

Breathalyzer test result “very positive”
As reported in the press release Municipal Police City of Krakow, after arriving at the scene, the officers found two women next to the Opel.
“One of them stated that she was driving the car and drove into this place because the navigation guided her this way,” we read in the statement.
The guards emphasized that during the conversation the driver smelled of alcohol.
“Therefore, the result of the breath alcohol test turned out to be a formality. It was very positive, so the police are now dealing with the matter,” we read in the entry.
