Quintuplets were born at the University Hospital in Krakow. Three girls and two boys were born in the 28th week of pregnancy by caesarean section. As it was reported, not only the father, but also seven siblings are waiting for the little ones at home. According to doctors, “such a pregnancy occurs once in 52 million cases”. It happened for the second time in the history of the Krakow hospital.

According to the facility, such a pregnancy is extremely rare, occurring once in 52 million cases. Three girls and two boys were born in the 28th week of pregnancy by caesarean section.

Charles Patrick, Henry James, Elizabeth May, Evangeline Rose and Arianna Daisy weigh between 710 and 1,400 grams, each measuring approximately 40 centimeters. All of them were taken care of by the team of the Clinical Department of Neonatology, headed by Professor Ryszard Lauterbach, where they will spend the next few weeks.
