The German Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that the rumors that buses from Germany would come for migrants staying at the Polish-Belarusian border and Poland would let them through are untrue. The spokesman of the minister of the special services coordinator, Stanisław Żaryn, informed on Saturday that rumors were spreading among migrants at the Polish-Belarusian border that “buses from Germany would come for them and Poland would let them pass”. He noted that it was a lie. “The authors of these rumors hope that it will be possible to encourage migrants to storm the Polish border. Dangerous situations may arise” – he assessed.

On Sunday, Żaryn reiterated in an interview with TVN24 that these messages are “an absolute lie”. – The Polish border will be tightly protected – he stressed.

German Foreign Ministry: the rumors are false

The German Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday referred to the information disseminated among migrants.

“Rumors that Germany is planning to send buses for people from Belarus, through Poland, to Germany are untrue. Whoever spreads these lies exposes people to great danger” – it was written. A similar announcement was published on his profile by the spokesman of the German Ministry of Internal Affairs, Steve Alter.

RCB alerts sent to migrants

On Saturday evening, the head of the Ministry of Interior and Administration, Mariusz Kamiński, informed that a Central Bureau of Investigation alert was sent to migrants with a warning in English so that “they would not believe the rumors and the Polish border was well guarded.” The message also contains a link to a website with extended information in Arabic, German, Polish and French.

Rumors are spreading among migrants about an organized action, which is to take place on November 15. Migrants are told that buses from Germany will come for them, and that Poland will let them pass. Dangerous situations may arise.
