Appeal on refugees

“Nobody deserves to die in the forest. Humanity has nothing to do with political colors. When a person dies from cold and hunger outside our house, we simply have to help him. This is what we were taught from childhood at home, at school, in church. That is why we were taught this from childhood. there is one free seat at the table during Christmas Eve. We have always been proud of that, regardless of our beliefs “- we hear in the recorded spot.

“The Belarusian regime has lured thousands of people into a trap. Under these conditions, they are doomed to die. We are in favor of keeping the borders tight, but we call for the permanent admission of medical services and humanitarian aid to the emergency zone,” the artists say in the spot.

Wojciechowska wrote in social media that the appeal was also supported by: Granica Group composed of Nomada Association, Association for Legal Intervention, Homo Faber, Polish Migration Forum, Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights, Salam Lab, Anna Alboth, Open House, Centrum Pomocy Prawnej im. Halina Nieć, BREAD AND SALT, refugees.info, RATS Agency, Kuchnia Konfliktu, Strefa WolnoSłowa, “Świetlica” stop for refugee children.

Antoni Pawlicki: we know from the residents’ reports that it is hotter there

Actor Antoni Pawlicki said on TVN24 on Saturday that “many actors have gathered to help”.

– We organize collections, support and meet local residents. We are trying to provide real help – he added. – There was also the idea that we should take a position in public and make such a spot and call for what seems most important to us in this situation, that is to let humanitarian aid into the zone of emergency – said Pawlicki. “We know from the residents’ reports that it is hotter there,” he added.

Antoni Pawlicki talked to the inhabitants of border towns about help for migrants:
