On Saturday, a forest fire broke out on the Croatian peninsula of Istria. The fire quickly moved towards the buildings. Several buildings were damaged and a dozen or so cars burned in the workshop. The fire department said in the afternoon that the fire was under control but still not located. At Kontakt 24, we received a video showing the rising clouds of smoke near the beach in Pula.

Croatian media reports that the fire broke out on Saturday around noon in the area of ​​the city of Pula. Most of the city was left without electricity. As reported after 3 p.m. the fire commander, Dino Kozlovec, the fire was contained, but not located.

About 15 cars were burned in the car repair shop, local media reported. The fire department reported that several buildings were also damaged in the fire. Nobody was hurt. According to preliminary estimates, about 30 hectares of vegetation burned down, the commander of the fire said.

Fire was difficult to extinguish storm. Due to the strong wind, the fire spread quickly. Some roads were closed due to the fire.
