Over 60 interventions by firefighters in the Lębork district

According to senior captain Marcin Elwart, press officer of the Poviat Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Lębork, after 10 am on Saturday, firefighters intervened 64 times from Friday to 7 pm. – Our activities are mainly based on removing the effects of strong wind, i.e. fallen trees and branches that fell on the streets, cars and garbage cans. The reports also include damaged roofs, he said.

“Fortunately, there were no casualties in our district at this time,” he added.

Over 1800 interventions in Poland

According to the State Fire Service, firefighters received 1,831 calls, including 906 on Friday and 925 from midnight to 6am on Saturday.

Most notifications were recorded in the Pomorskie, Zachodniopomorskie, Wielkopolskie and Kujawsko-Pomorskie voivodeships. One person was injured.
