A 48-year-old woman with four children in her car had nearly one and a half per mille of alcohol in her body. The woman was caught during a routine inspection. She faces up to three years in prison.
As informed by staff aspirant Magdalena Krasna from the District Police Headquarters in Łęczna. On Monday, police stopped a car in Podgłębokie for inspection. It turned out that the driver, a 48-year-old resident of the Cyców commune, had nearly one and a half per mille of alcohol in her body.
She was carrying four children
“She was traveling in this condition with four minor passengers aged 8 to 16. The children were handed over to the care of their legal guardians. The police detained the driver’s driving license,” Krasna reported. She added that information about the incident would be sent to the family court.
She is facing prison
The 48-year-old faces up to three years in prison, a driving ban and a payment to the Victims’ Assistance Fund and Post-penitentiary Assistance.
