– Donald Tusk has made a decision to get out of this difficult situation we have fallen into. Let me be clear, I stand by Tusk on this matter – said Deputy Speaker of the Sejm Włodzimierz Czarzasty (Left) in “Fakty po Faktach” on TVN24. He referred in this way to the Prime Minister's decision to revoke the countersignature under the resolution of President Andrzej Duda. As he said, he believes that the decision of the head of government was consulted “with a huge number of wise, reasonable lawyers”.
Donald Tusk announced on social media on Monday that “based on the complaint of the judges of the Civil Chamber of the Supreme Court decided to revoke the countersignature“. This concerns the Prime Minister's countersignature, criticized by some legal circles, among others, under the President's decision, pursuant to which Judge Krzysztof Wesołowski, appointed to the Civil Chamber of the Supreme Court in March 2022 (appointed to the Supreme Court by the National Council of the Judiciary in a procedure changed during the government of PIS) – was appointed chairman of the Supreme Court Civil Chamber. At the end of August, Prime Minister Tusk stated that the countersignature under this act was a mistake.
Even before the Prime Minister's decision was announced on Monday, two judges of the Civil Chamber of the Supreme Court appealed against Tusk's countersignature to the Provincial Administrative Court in Warsaw.

The host of the program noted that there was legal confusion because there were different opinions on whether Tusk could have done it or not.
Czarzasty said that Tusk had made a mistake and was looking for a solution. – That solution, I understand, is to withdraw that countersignature. I understand that if at that time, because of one or another Mr. or Ms. official, a mistake was made, then at this moment, what the Prime Minister did, I believe, was certainly consulted with a huge number of wise, sensible lawyers and he made the right decision – he said.
– If you ask me if this is a good direction, I will say: yes – he added.
“I stand with Tusk on this matter”
In response to the fact that there are different opinions, it seems to deepen the legal chaos, Czarzasty replied that “nobody will deepen the legal chaos more than what PiS has done for eight years”. – And Mr. President Andrzej Dudawho signed all this – he added.
– The thing about Gordian knots is that you either don't untie them, or you cut them because you can't untie them. We're trying to do that – Czarzasty noted.
He added that the Minister of Justice, Prosecutor General Adam Bodnar proposed solutions, consulting them earlier, among others, with the Left. – We support these solutions – assured the deputy marshal.
– Mr. Donald Tusk has made a decision to get out of this difficult situation we have found ourselves in. To be clear, I stand with Tusk on this matter, I stand with (the Speaker of the Sejm) on the issue of the coalition. Szymon) Hołownia and with (Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense Władysław) Kosiniak-Kamysz. Because that's how it should be – he declared.
Czarzasty: Dziemianowicz-Bąk and Paszyk should meet and sort everything out
Czarzasty also commented on the exchange of views between the Minister of Family, Labor and Social Policy Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk (Left) and the Minister of Development and Technology Krzysztof Paszyk from PSL.
The disputes concern, among others, the zero percent loan and the issue of the four-day workday. Dziemianowicz-Bąk accused Paszyk, among others, of a “bizarre, very strange media tour”.

Therefore, I do not take sides, I only encourage common sense,” he replied.
When asked if he had the opportunity to persuade Dziemianowicz-Bąk to do so, Czarzasty replied that he had not, because “the minister is a very reasonable person”.
– You shouldn't expect that when she is attacked in some way, she won't respond to these attacks. I think that you both should simply meet, explain everything and close the matter – he assessed.
