On Wednesday evening, there was an accident in Czosnów (Masovian Voivodeship) involving a 17-year-old motorcyclist. The police reported that the driver of the passenger car did not give way to him at the intersection. The driver of the two-wheeler was taken to a hospital in Warsaw by an air ambulance helicopter.
– The driver of a Mazda vehicle, a 45-year-old man from Warsaw, and the driver of a Honda motorcycle, a 17-year-old from Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki, took part in the incident – said Assistant Commissioner Joanna Wielocha, spokeswoman for the police in Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki, in an interview with tvnwarszawa.pl.
Motorcyclist in hospital
The policewoman noted that the incident was reported at 8:44 p.m. – According to police officers from the Road Traffic Department who were on the spot, the driver of the Mazda did not give way to the driver of the motorcycle. As a result of the collision, the motorcyclist with a leg injury was taken by an air ambulance helicopter to one of Warsaw hospitals – said Deputy Commissioner Wielocha.
As the policewoman concluded, both drivers were sober. – The incident was classified as an accident – she said.
