The police under the supervision of the prosecutor’s office in Łowicz (Łódź Voivodeship) are investigating the circumstances of the fatal accident involving a motorcyclist. – The 36-year-old driver of a cross motorcycle hit the back of a moving specialist machine for transporting and felling wood, died despite resuscitation, police inform.
The incident took place on July 19 around 7.30 pm in Dąbkowice in the Łowicz poviat. The services received information about the motorcyclist’s accident.
The police and fire brigade arrived on the scene. An air ambulance helicopter was also called.
He hit the back of a tree felling machine and died on the spot
– From the preliminary findings of the policemen working on the spot, it appears that the 36-year-old driver of the cross type motorcycle, for undetermined reasons, hit the back of a moving specialist machine for transporting and felling wood. Despite the resuscitation carried out on the spot, the motorcyclist died on the spot – informs Chief Commissioner Urszula Szymczak from the police in Łowicz.
The driver of the machine, a resident of the Szczecin poviat, was sober. The circumstances of the incident are being clarified by the police under the supervision of the District Prosecutor’s Office in Łowicz.
