According to investigators, the 41-year-old accosted young people on buses and at stops. Carrying an ax and a hammer, he allegedly threatened the teenagers. As the policeman says, he stole a book from one girl.

Criminal investigators tracked down and detained a 41-year-old who was supposed to travel by bus around Dąbrowa Górnicza with an ax and a hammer, police officers from Dąbrowa Górnicza announced today.

The crimes happened on Wednesday. Three people aged 16 and 17 were injured – says Bartłomiej Osmólski, spokesman for the Dąbrowa police.

According to the findings of the investigators, the man had been operating since early afternoon and was arrested in the evening.

– While riding buses and at bus stops, he accosted young people, then threatened them and made theft. The perpetrator at one of the stops robbed a 16-year-old girl, police describe.

His loot was supposed to be a book stolen from a girl at the bus stop. – It was the book “Lew-Starowicz about a man” – says Osmólski.

The police emphasize that the 41-year-old “acted premeditated and consciously sought out young victims to carry out his criminal plans.”

He heard charges of robbery, criminal threats, defamation and violation of inviolability. He will wait for the trial in custody, where he will spend the next three months by the court’s decision.
