Fire in a former kindergarten building in Dąbrowa Górnicza in Upper Silesia. Firefighters found an unconscious man in a vacant building. His life could not be saved.
The fire occurred on Sunday around 6 a.m. The services received a report of a burning building of the former kindergarten at Aleja Zwycięstwa 87 in Dąbrowa Górnicza.
“This is a building that once housed a kindergarten – currently vacant. The firefighters' actions consisted of securing the scene of the incident and applying seven extinguishing jets of water to the burning building,” said the Municipal Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Dąbrowa Górnicza.

One person is dead
While searching the interior of the building, firefighters found an unconscious man, whom they evacuated outside.
After resuscitation, the emergency medical team pronounced the man dead.
Twelve fire brigades took part in fire-fighting operations.
