Daikin opened a factory in Poland. Work for 3,000 people

The Japanese giant intends to employ 3,000 workers at its plant in Ksawerów by 2030. The construction of the factory in Poland was completed in a few months agobut production is scheduled to start only in December. Daikin is looking for employees for a factory in Poland

Daikin is currently looking for specialists in many areas, including quality control, accounting, production workers and occupational health and safety. The company offers, for example, an employment contract concluded directly with Daikin Manufacturing Poland, free medical care, training and awards. Initially, the factory will operate in a single-shift mode, but over time it will transition to a two-shift work system.

– This factory will have the largest production capacity in the Daikin Europe Group in terms of production heat pumps. Thanks to this investment, we want to become a leader in this industry in each of the main European countries – he said two years ago after signing an investment agreement in Poland, Toshitaka Tsubouchi, president of Daikin Europe.

Daikin employs 89,000 people around the world

The company states that the investment in Poland is “a complement to PLN 840 million euro defined in Daikin Europe's FUSION 25 strategic management plan announced last year, as well as new investments in existing factories.” This will bring the total amount of investment by Daikin Europe by 2025 to over EUR 1.2 billion.

– Our activities will allow us to produce four times more heat pumps than before by 2025 and create a production system that ensures stable supplies to the rapidly developing market – emphasized Hiromitsu Iwasaki, vice president of Daikin Europe. In total, the company employs 89,000. employees around the world, has 12 production plants.
