Dense fog will make traveling difficult on the night from Tuesday to Wednesday in a large area of ​​Poland. The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management issued warnings. Visibility is expected to drop to 200 meters.

IMWM warnings – dense fog

First degree warnings against dense fog apply to the following voivodeships:

  • West Pomeranian Voivodeshipcounties: Sławno, Koszalin, KoszalinBiałogard, Świdwiński, Szczecinek, Drawsko, Wałecki;
  • Pomeranian;
  • Greater Polandcounties: Złotów, Piła, Konin, KoninKoło, Turkish, Kalisz;
  • Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship;
  • Warmian-Masurian Voivodeshipoutside the following poviats: Gołdap, Olecko, Ełk;
  • Podlasiefor the following counties: Kolno, Łomża, Łomża, Zambrowski, Wysokie Mazowieckie;
  • Masovian Voivodeship;
  • Łódź;
  • Świętokrzyskie;
  • Silesianoutside the southwestern part of the voivodeship;
  • Lesser Poland;
  • Podkarpackie;
  • Lublin Provincecounties: Łuków, Puławy, Opole, Kraśnik, Janów, Biłgoraj.

Visibility may be limited to 200 meters in places. The warnings will come into force at 11pm on Tuesday and will end at 11pm. 9 on Wednesday.
