Head-on collision of two passenger cars at the A2 motorway exit in Daniszew (Wielkopolskie Voivodeship). According to police, one of the drivers was driving the wrong way. It led to a collision in which two people were injured. Their life is not in danger.

On Saturday, around 6.30 pm, the services received a report of a collision of two passenger cars in the town of Daniszew at the exit junction of the A2 motorway.

“After arriving at the scene, it was established that there had been a head-on collision between two passenger cars. Firefighters secured the scene, disconnected the power supply to the vehicles and at the same time provided qualified first aid to the injured,” reported firefighters from the Volunteer Fire Brigade in Ruszków Pierwszy.

Four fire brigade units, two medical rescue teams and the police were dispatched to the site. – According to preliminary findings, the 56-year-old Toyota driver – after passing the motorway entrance gates – did not follow the designated traffic directions, continuing to drive the wrong way in the lane intended for vehicles exiting the motorway. As a result, there was a collision with a passenger Opel – said senior officer Daniel Boła, press officer of the District Police Headquarters in Koło.
