Moschino is mourning the lack of Italian clothier Davide Renne.
Massimo Ferretti, the chairman of Moschino’s dad or mum firm Aeffe, shared on social media Nov. 10 that Davide died at age 46, 9 days after he formally stepped into his position as Moschino’s new artistic director.
“There aren’t any phrases to explain the ache we’re experiencing at this dramatic time,” Massimo wrote in a statement on the label’s Instagram. “Davide joined us just a few days in the past, when a sudden sickness took him from us too quickly. We nonetheless cannot consider what occurred.”
Shedding gentle on the work Davide had been dealing with on the style home since he began Nov. 1, the board member continued, “With Davide, we have been engaged on an bold venture, in an environment of enthusiasm and optimism for the longer term.
