Debate in Końskie. Political lobby of the events

Comments after Friday's debate in Końskie are still not quiet. On Sunday, the turbulent course of the discussion was analyzed by journalists Radomir Wit, Piotr Kraśko and journalist Maja Wójcikowska in the program “In Kuluari” on TVN24. They betrayed the backstage of the debate. What was the staff of Szymon Hołownia fear? Who suggested Magdalena Biejat to pick up the flag from Rafał Trzaskowski?

On Friday, a presidential debate took place in Końskie. Actually, until the start, it was not certain who would take part in it. Initially, only two candidates were to take a rhetorical clash: Rafał Trzaskowski (Civic Coalition) and Karol Nawrocki (Law and Justice), but eventually eight of 13 registered candidates took part: Rafał Trzaskowski, Karol Nawrocki, Szymon HołowniaMagdalena Biejat, Krzysztof Stanowski, Joanna Senyszyn, Marek Jakubiak and Maciej Maciak.

On Sunday, journalists Radomir Wit, Piotr Kraśko and journalist Maja Wójcikowska betrayed in the program “in Kuluari” on TVN24, what the atmosphere in the staffs before and during the debate looked like. – The decision regarding Szymon Hołownia was to be made in a very narrow group. Hence, on the side of Poland's politicians 2050 in the morning and before noon, there was no knowledge – said Radomir vit.

– Actually, Szymon Hołownia came to the conclusion that he could pay off. It means showing up and try to do something like a campaign restart in this way – he added.

In turn, Maja Wójcikowska talked about fears in the staff of the Speaker of the Sejm in connection with his possible participation in the debate. – Szymon Hołownia himself also hesitated that there was such a doubt: what if they didn't let us in? And what if I, the other person in the state, the Speaker of the Sejm, will I be killing? the journalist betrayed.

What did the staff suggest Magdalena Biejat?

Wójcikowska, who was in Końskie during the debate, also reported what the time the rainbow flag was taken from Rafał Trzaskowski by Magdalena Biejat.

During the debate, Nawrocki erected a rainbow flag before Trzaskowski, and he put it next to the rostrum. Soon after, Biejat said: – I wanted to offer Rafał Trzaskowski because I just saw that he had hidden the rainbow flag. I am not ashamed of her, I will gladly take her away from you. She then went to Trzaskowski and took the flag from him.

The journalist suggested that Biejat could get such a hint from her staff. – you can see (there was) scrolling and phones in the hands of politicians. It was supposed to be, yes. So she went, she made this gesture – she assessed.

Wójcikowska also emphasized that Biejat's gesture “is a symbol of this debate.”
