Karol Nawrocki, opposing the white -and -red flag of LGBT flag, once again showed what contempt for his grouping against LGBT people – she said in “Dorota Łoboda (KO) in Kropka and” Dorota Łoboda (KO), commenting on the events of the debate in Końskie. Anna Maria Żukowska (left) commented on the reaction of Rafał Trzaskowski. “If someone is actually devoted to these values, they should not hide them,” she said.
During the Friday debate in Końskie, the candidate PIS Karol Nawrocki pulled two flags on the rostrum – white and red and rainbow – and erected in front of the KO candidate Rafał Trzaskowski the latter. Shortly after this situation, the left candidate Magdalena Biejat said: – I wanted to offer Rafał Trzaskowski, because I just saw that he had hidden the rainbow flag, (that – ed.) I am not ashamed of her, I will gladly take her away from you.
She then went to Trzaskowski and took over the pennant from him.
In Monday “Kropka nad i” this situation was commented by the MP of the Civic Coalition Dorota Łoboda (member of the staff Rafał Trzaskowski) and the chairwoman of the left Parliamentary Club Anna Maria Żukowska.
“Actions count the most”
As Łoboda assessed, “Karol Nawrocki, opposing the white -and -red flag LGBT, once again showed what contempt for his grouping – because the Law and Justice and the right side of the political scene is behind him – towards LGBT people.”

Asked, which means Trzaskowski's gesture, who put the flag to the ground, MP KO argued that “gestures count in politics, symbols count, but deeds count the most.” – There are few politicians in Poland who declare their support for people so clearly LGBT. Rafał Trzaskowski as the president of Warsaw signed the LGBT declaration, always stands on the side of LGBT people, marches in the Equality Parade, gives her patronage – she calculated.
Żukowska: Biejat freed Trzaskowski from values that he did not want to show
Żukowska said that “it was symbolic, and symbols have a lot of power in politics.” – Magdalena Biejat simply freed Rafał Trzaskowski from the symbol, from probably some elements, values that he did not want to show during the presidential campaign – she said.
In her opinion, “if someone is actually devoted to these values, they should not hide them in the debate.”
– It is of course that Karol Nawrocki did it cynically, he did it especially. But this is the so -called permanent element of the game in debates that someone brings something to someone, puts on the desktop. This happens very often, not only in Poland, so bars should be prepared for such an event – said the left MP.
