No casualties, but the house was badly damaged after a Renault collision with a truck. The second vehicle left the road and drove into a nearby building. Firefighters worked for several hours removing the vehicle.
On Saturday, just before 10.00 p.m., there was a dangerous-looking collision in Dębe (Greater Poland Voivodeship) on the Czarnków-Lubasz route. The truck ran off the road and crashed into a nearby detached house. The vehicle literally crashed into the wall of the building, creating a large gap. – The Renault driver made an incorrect lane change maneuver and collided sideways with a truck. As a result of the collision, the truck driver ran into the top of a residential building. Nobody was injured – said the asp. Karolina Górzna-Kustra from the Police in Czarnków.
– From 21.56 to 5.48 there were firefighters working on the spot, There were four teams in total – said the officer of the fire brigade.

– In the first phase of the intervention, it was necessary to secure the scene and take care of the truck’s fuel tank. It was damaged and the fuel leaked out fairly quickly. At the end of the activities, we helped the services to remove the vehicle from the building – said young captain. Artur Kłos, spokesman for the fire brigade in Czarnków.
Both drivers were fined. A truck driver for incorrect overtaking, and a passenger car driver for causing a collision. The technical condition of the damaged building will be assessed by the building supervision inspector.
