Nearly two per mille of alcohol had a 40-year-old truck driver in the body, who on one of the streets in Dęblin (Lublin) drove into the back of the car standing in front of the pedestrian crossing. Then, wanting to park, he hit the police car of intervening policemen.
It was Monday (June 9) before 16 When the patrolling Dęblin police noticed an accident that occurred on the 15th Wilków Infantry Regiment Street.
“The preliminary findings of officers show that the 40-year-old Mercedes truck driver did not keep a safe distance from the Toyota passenger car preceding him, which stopped before the pedestrian crossing,” aspirant Łukasz Filipek from the Poviat Police Headquarters in Ryki writes in the message.

The truck drove into the back of the car. The 45-year-old driver of the latter was hospitalized. The truck driver caused another accident. In order to park in a non -adapter place, he did not exercise due caution and damaged another vehicle – this time a police car of intervening policemen.
It turned out that a 40-year-old resident of the Rycki poviat was drunk. The breathalyzer test showed nearly two alcohol per mille in his body.

There is no right to drive a truck
“In addition, after checking in police databases it was established that the 40-year-old should not drive such a vehicle at all, because he did not have the right to drive a truck,” informs Asp. Filipek.
The man is punishable by a fine, restriction or imprisonment from three months to five years.
“Another ailment is a mandatory benefit in the amount of not less than PLN 5,000 for the victim aid fund and post -trade assistance as well as a ban on managing for at least three years” – emphasizes the policeman.
In addition, the 40-year-old will be responsible for driving without permissions and causing two accidents.
