  • ½ cup rendered bacon fats
  • ¾ cup sugar, 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 ¼ cups flour
  • 1.5 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1.5 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup cooked, diced bacon lardons

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375° F.
  2. Reduce ½-pound bacon into lardons, and if needed, {cook} on low warmth till golden brown.
  3. Put aside ¼-cup rendered bacon fats and place in freezer to solidify or use rendered bacon fats that you’ve got available.
  4. Sift collectively the flour, salt, and baking powder and put aside.
