Opposition comments after Kornecka’s resignation

MEP Marek Belka, among others, referred to the prime minister’s decision. “The deputy minister seems to share the views of her boss, Deputy Prime Minister Gowin. In such a case, has Mr. Morawiecki already dismissed him?” – he wondered on Twitter.

“Mateusz Morawiecki recalled Anna Kornecka, recall Zbigniew Ziobra, then you will be a guest, and yes, it’s just a crumb” – appealed Tomasz Trela from the Left.

In turn, Michał Szczerba from the Civic Coalition wrote that you can lose your position in the government for criticizing the Polish Deal. “You can return to the government for the purchase of respirators and tens of millions of losses for the Treasury,” he stressed. “It is not the world that has gone crazy, it was PiS that has lost touch with reality. This government has hit the bottom,” he added.

“They are recalling the deputy minister, because she did not keep up with the project of 70-meter houses. How to keep up with projects with such PiS-inflation and high prices of building materials. Recently, for a price of 70 meters, it was possible to build a 140-meter house, in a few months there will be 30-meter houses” – commented Krzysztof Brejza, senator of the Civic Platform.

“Once again, the deputy minister responsible for two key issues for the quality of our life is changing: housing and planning reform. The prime minister is shooting at specialists as if they were ducks. And those who worked without pay raises. It is a pity, because Anna Kornecka was very competent” – was assessed by Szymon Hołownia, MP Hanna Gill-Piątek from the Polska 2050 movement.

The Gowin agreement criticizes Kornecka’s decision to resign

Covenant politicians reacted to the information about the dismissal of Anna Kornecka. The party’s spokeswoman Magdalena Sroka wrote on Twitter that she fully agrees with the words of Anna Kornecka. “Fortunately, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki is not able to dismiss me,” she added.

“Fighting for the interests of the middle class and Polish entrepreneurs is the goal of the Agreement, regardless of the consequences” – Jan Strzeżek wrote on Twitter. “We want taxes to be reduced and simplified, and not to reach deeper into the pockets of those who build Poland’s wealth,” he stressed.

In turn, MP Michał Wypij pointed out that there are many ministers in the government whose “pace and effects of work do not bring glory”. “It is a pity that the consequences are only drawn to those who tell the truth,” he assessed.
