The deputy head of the Ministry of Climate and Environment, Edward Siarka, takes over the tasks performed by Deputy Minister Jacek Dekora, according to the order of the Minister of Climate and Environment, Anna Moskva, on the division of competences in the management of the ministry. Both secretaries of state belong to Solidarna Polska, which co-creates the United Right.
On Monday, the Official Journal of the Minister of Climate and Environment published a regulation on the division of competences in the management of the Ministry of Culture and Environment. According to the document, Secretary of State Jacek Dekora “performs tasks commissioned directly by the Minister of Climate and Environment”.
As it results from the previous order on the division of powers of September 19, 2022, the powers of Dekora included defining detailed tasks and supervising the work of the Department of Waste Management and the Department of Environmental Instruments, as well as exercising powers in relation to the Chief Inspector of Environmental Protection.

The order of December 5 stated that defining detailed tasks and supervising the work of waste management departments and environmental instruments, as well as exercising the competences of the minister in relation to the Chief Inspector of Environmental Protection, fell to the Deputy Minister – Secretary of State Edward Siarka. His duties also include supervision over the department of forestry and hunting, State Forests, Polish Hunting Association.
Both Ornament and Brimstone are members of Solidarity Poland – a group that is part of the United Right coalition – whose leader is Zbigniew Ziobro, Minister of Justice and Prosecutor General.
