The prosecutor’s office talks about the results of autopsies of other victims of the catastrophe in Chrcynno. The examination of the parachute instructor who died on Wednesday in the Bródnowski Hospital is scheduled for Friday.
A spokeswoman for the District Prosecutor’s Office in Ostrołęka, Elżbieta Edyta Łukasiewicz, said that an autopsy was carried out on Wednesday for four victims of the crash in Chrcynno.
– Initial information was provided by an expert pathologist. The direct cause of death of one of the men was extensive chest trauma combined with hemorrhage. The cause of death of the other three victims, including a woman, were extensive head injuries combined with multi-site, deep brain injuries, she said.
She noted that the autopsy of the sixth victim – a man who died on Wednesday evening at the Bródnowski Hospital – was scheduled for Friday.
An autopsy of the fifth victim, the pilot, carried out on Tuesday, showed that the cause of death was a head injury and a lung contusion.
Six people are dead, seven are injured
As a result of Monday’s passenger plane crash at the airport in Chrcynno six people died, five of them on the spot. All of them were related to aviation and the Warsaw Aeroclub community. Seven people are injured.
The accident took place on Monday evening at the SkyDive Warszawa aeroclub in Chrcynno near Nasielsk (Nowodwór district). In bad weather conditions, a Cessna 208 crashed into a hangar, where several people were sheltered from the storm.
