Today, Jarosław Gowin has appointed Anna Kornecka, dismissed by Mateusz Morawiecki, as a plenipotentiary in the Ministry of Development, Labor and Technology. – Anna Kornecka as the plenipotentiary of Minister Jarosław Gowin is simply a political game – said Olga Semeniuk, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Development, Labor and Technology, in the TVN24 program “Yes is”. As she pointed out, she herself is still waiting for a call from Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Gowin. – That he would inform me officially that in fact two departments were taken from me, another two, because initially I had five – said Semeniuk, who represents Law and Justice.
Olga Semeniuk was appointed the Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Development in early January 2020. According to the order of Minister Gowin of August 3, Semeniuk lost supervision over the Department of Digital Economy and the Department of Dialogue and Social Partnership on Tuesday.

Anna Kornecka with a new function
Anna Kornecka was appointed by the deputy prime minister on Friday, Minister of Development, Labor and Technology Jarosław Gowin as the plenipotentiary of the minister for investments and the Green Deal. He informed about it on social media Gowin. Two days ago, Kornecka was dismissed by the prime minister as deputy minister in this ministry.
– Today’s moves by Jarosław Gowin, quite nervous, are directly related to politics and the exchange of these political balls – commented Olga Semeniuk. – Today it seems that this is the answer for Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki after the dismissal (Anna Kornecka – ed.), And we had reasons to dismiss (…), so it is simply a political game – she said.
– I got acquainted with the regulation that was adopted by Prime Minister Jarosław Gowin in the context of appointing Ms Anna Kornecka as the plenipotentiary and now her role will be to support the area of spatial planning, construction and the Green Deal. I am curious what the consequences will be, what will be the products of this support – said the Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Regional Development and Planning.
As she recalled, this is the second plenipotentiary at the Ministry of Development, Labor and Technology. – The first is Mrs. Anna Budzanowska – Semeniuk pointed out. As we read on the Ministry’s website, she acts as the minister’s plenipotentiary for coordination of the implementation of European funds.
Changes in the Ministry of Development, Labor and Technology
On Wednesday, government spokesman Piotr Mueller said that the prime minister Mateusz Morawiecki decided to dismiss Anna Kornecka from the function of Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Development, Labor and Technology. Earlier, he also referred to Kornecka’s statement, which on Tuesday on TVN24 criticized the tax solutions proposed in the Polish Lada. As the deputy minister said, the Agreement “very clearly sets the limits and opposes such a sharp increase in taxes”.
Anna Kornecka reacted to her resignation on Twitter. “There is no consent to drastically increasing taxes and tributes for them. I do not regret paying for it by resignation” – she wrote. She also spoke about her appeal in an interview with the TVN24 reporter.
