Jakub Rutnicki, an MP from the Civic Coalition, demanded from the parliamentary podium that Jarosław Kaczyński refer to the report on the past of the Law and Justice candidate for president, Karol Nawrocki. The KO MP tried to hand the document to President Kaczyński, and there was a dispute with the PiS MPs.
During today's Sejm session, KO MP Jakub Rutnicki addressed the issue directly Jarosław Kaczyński requesting explanations about the past report Karol Nawrocki.
– The whole of Poland is reading the shocking report. (…) Mr. Kaczyński, there is no point in laughing. You need to stand here before the high chamber and say whether you know about Mr. Nawrocki's connections with the criminal world – said the MP.
He added that “there is concrete evidence of these connections.” – The question arises whether perhaps the first decision that – God forbid – you would make to President Nawrocki would be to pardon the gangsters – he said.
Then Rutnicki left the podium towards the benches PISin front of which Kaczyński was sitting. He tried to hand him a file with a printed report.
PiS politicians stood in his way: Mariusz Błaszczak and Paweł Shefernaker. There was a short exchange of words between the politicians. He also rose from the parliamentary benches Ryszard Terleckitook a stack of sheets of paper from the KO MP's hand and threw them on the floor.
Report on Karol Nawrocki's “dangerous relationships”.
On Sunday, the Onet portal published fragments of an anonymous study about Karol Nawrocki's past. It indicates the presidential candidate's connections with the criminal and neo-Nazi environment.
KO MEPs Dariusz Joński and Michał Szczerba quoted fragments of the report during Monday's press conference. Politicians announced, among others: parliamentary inspections at the Museum of the Second World War in Gdańsk and the Institute of National Remembrance, i.e. institutions headed by Karol Nawrocki.
