The Dojlidy Forest District (Podlaskie Voivodeship) publishes videos from camera traps showing a moose called Kacperk by foresters. The animal runs around the swamp as if “fighting” the water. Internet users joke that they “trampled on crocodiles” or lost their phone.
– In the video we see a young individual. Maybe this is his way of having fun. If we were dealing with an elder, we could assume that he saw his shadow in the water and treated it as a threat. And when a moose feels threatened, it is anxious. It can even attack a person – says Wojciech Świtecki, forester of the Dojlidy Forest District.
The foresters’ Facebook profile includes films from the series “Secrets of forest wetlands”, the main character of which is a moose called Kacper.

“Maybe he lost his phone”
The animal runs around the swamp as if “fighting” the water. When it splashes, it tries to kick the circles that appear on the surface. Internet users commenting on one of the videos on the X platform (formerly Twitter) joke that the moose “trampled all the crocodiles in Podlasie” or “lost the phone.” Others write that he has fun or that he has something of a human nature because “typical human stupidity caught him.”
