I believe that Donald Trump wants to end this war as soon as possible – said Professor Katarzyna Pirska from the Warsaw School of Economics, who has been in Kiev for several days, in “Fakty po Faktach” on TVN24. At some point, the expert had to interrupt her connection. The reason was the information about the anti-missile alarm that was activated in the Ukrainian capital.

Professor Katarzyna Pirska from the Warsaw School of Economics, chairwoman of the Kazimierz Pułaski Foundation Council, commented on the electoral victory on TVN24 Donald Trump in the United States. She spoke to the program's host, Anita Werner, from Kiev, where she has been staying for several days.

– I'm on Ukraine It's already the seventh day. Of course, Ukrainians were preparing for these American elections, they were talking (about them – editor). One thing I heard all the time before and after the elections was a simple sentence – “no matter if it's Harris or Trump, Ukrainians will keep fighting,” she said.

As she said, for many decision-makers in Kiev, “Donald Trump is becoming a big mystery, a big question mark.” – But it doesn't change the fact that everyone here is determined and, to be honest, calm. I didn't feel any panic here (from the Ukrainians – ed.). I had the feeling that the panic was much greater in Poland, she added.

“Excuse me, I just heard the missile alarm.”

At one point, Professor Pisarska said that she had to interrupt her participation in the program because she received information about the anti-missile alarm that had been activated in Kiev.

– Sorry, I'm hearing a missile alarm right now. I'm very sorry, I have to (interrupt – editor) – she said.

She also said that about four or five such alarms are triggered in Kiev every night. – Today's situation of Ukrainians is truly dramatic. And we in Poland must remember this. And when we start saying that Ukrainians should be left to their own devices, we must remember that this is really our war. I am convinced that we will continue to help Ukraine, she added.
