US President Donald Trump said that the United States “in the near future” sign a contract with Ukraine on local minerals. This was to happen at the end of February, but then in the White House there was a quarrel with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zielnski.

Donald Trump about the fact that such a contract would soon be signed, he informed after the signing of the ordinances. One of them concerned the increase in production in the US – as it was put – “key minerals”.

– I just signed a regulation on increasing the production of key minerals. It's a great thing. As you know, we sign contracts for the extraction of minerals in many places around the world – said Trump during the conference.

As he continued, one of such contracts is the one that is to be concluded with Ukraine. He added that this would happen “in the near future”.

Originally, the agreement on the exploitation of Ukrainian raw materials was to be signed at the end of February, during the visit of Volodymyr Zelnski to the White House. At that time, however, there was a quarrel between politicians, and Trump accused the Ukrainian president that he “risked World War III.” Zelnski left the White House without signing the contract.
