As the Reuters agency points out, Waltz's statements appeared a day after Donald Trump called the President of Ukraine a dictator. Zełnski said that the US president lives in a disinformation bubble and gives arguments from Moscow.
Waltz argued in an interview that the differences between the US and Ukraine are not incompatible. “The president also said how much he loves the Ukrainian people,” he added.
