President Donald Trump he took place on Tuesday telephone conversation with the Russian leader Vladimir Putin. Concerned the issue of conflict in Ukrainewho unleashed Russiaand US-Russia relations. It was established, among others, that the Kremlin would suspend the critical infrastructure of Ukraine for 30 days.

– I would like President Trump to hear and see what Putin wants. Putin wants to carry out several offensive: towards Zaporozhye, east, towards Kharkov and Sum. Why? And therefore, to put maximum pressure on Ukraine and then put an ultimatum from the position of strength – said the President of Ukraine Wołodymyr Zelanski After the conversation of Russian leaders and USA.

The Ukrainian president also stated that if there was an agreement on the suspension of attacks on infrastructure objects, and Russia would not follow him, Ukraine will not remain passive. – It can't be that Russia will attack our energy and we will be silent. We will not – he assured.

Zelnski, who is visiting Finlandhe talked to journalists through a video. He said that he would like to find out about the results of talks with Putin from Trump himself, but he assured that Kiev supports all proposals that would lead to lasting and fair peace. He emphasized that so that Putin's plans were not realized, Kyiv “needs America's strength”.

– President Trump is a busy man, he will have time, take the phone, he will rave. We are ready, we will discuss the next steps. With satisfaction – he said.

When assessing the conversation of US and Russia leaders without the participation of Ukraine, he stated that they could talk about any subject, but his country cannot be a position in the menu that will be given to Putin.

– America is an independent state (…) and can talk (with Russia – ed.), Whatever she wants. It seems to me that these are their double -sided relationships. Although, without a doubt, they also have an impact on our situation – he said in an interview with journalists.

He also noted that during his dialogues with the American side he warned that he did not want Ukraine to be in the Putin menu. – We are not a salad, we are not a compote for this man, regardless of his appetite. We are an independent state. And that is why I think that the conversation without us is incorrect, because there will be no result that everyone wants – emphasized Zielnski.

The Ukrainian leader also referred to the situation in the Kurski region and stated that his troops were still in this region of Russia.

– Ukraine is carrying out its tasks in the Kurski region. Ukrainian soldiers are there and will be as long as we need this operation. (…) I think that in my opinion the operation in Kursk has completed the maximum of its tasks. Putin, who says that our boys are in the lap, while they are not encircled, he will not lead when and where our boys are to withdraw – said Zelanski.
