CPK must be carefully thought through, Donald Tusk said on Sunday. He promised that the project would be carried out “in the interest of Poland, with public money down to the last penny.” – I don’t have a complex towards Germans or Frenchmen, so I don’t have to prove every day that I will have a bigger airport – he said, referring to the words of Jarosław Kaczyński.

Donald Tusk at a meeting with the inhabitants of Morąg (Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship) he talked about the Central Communication Port project.

He noted that “CPK must be very well thought out.” – Hell broke loose when we said that the experts would decide whether the criteria he adopted were really (right – ed.) PISapart from the ambition that Kaczyński will have a larger airport than they have Germany or the French. I don’t have a complex towards Germans or Frenchmen, so I don’t have to prove every day that I will have a bigger airport – said the Prime Minister. He added that he knows “how much hope such an ambitious, cool investment always raises, which will raise our infrastructure and civilization capabilities to a higher level.”

Tusk said he had decided to “quickly and objectively assess what is best from the point of view of the country’s interests, what place, what scale, where the tracks for the high-speed railway should go.”

Tusk: this decision must be well-thought-out and cannot have a political context

Illustrating the scale of expenses in question, Tusk said that “every Polish family would have to put PLN 50,000 on the table for the CPK to be established.” – Do you know what PLN 50,000 is for an average Polish family? – He was asking. – I am a responsible man. If I have to say yes, we are throwing ourselves in, because we are throwing our money at it, we are throwing our money at CPK, then this decision must be well-thought-out and cannot have a political or ambitious context, it must be right on target – he argued.

He promised that the project called CPK would be carried out “in the interest of Poland, with public money down to the last penny.” – There will be no millions paid to people for mowing a meadow in Baranów, there will be no unjust expropriation, we will put it back on track again, so that no one in Poland will think that even a single zloty was wasted because some politician has great ambitions – he announced.

– IN China The Year of the Rabbit has ended and the Year of the Dragon has begun. I want to tell you that while I am cautious towards China, I would very much like and I can promise you that it will also be the Year of the Dragon for Poland. The Year of the Rabbit is over, there will be a Year of the Dragon, Tusk declared.
