“Those who broke the principles, rules and violated the Constitution will be punished, not new positions,” said Donald Tusk, the leader of the Civic Coalition, on Sunday – a day before the first session of the Sejm of the new term. “This is the foundation of the new order,” added the candidate for prime minister.

The first session of the Sejm
The first session of the Sejm of the new term will begin on Monday at noon. The ceremonial meeting will include a speech by the president.
The session will be opened by the senior marshal appointed by the president from among the oldest deputies. By decision of the president, it will be Marek Sawicki from the Polish People’s Party. The first day will be solemn. To the Sejm, apart from the president Andrzej Dudarepresentatives of the highest-ranking state authorities, members of the diplomatic corps, former presidents, speakers of the Sejm and prime ministers, commanders of the Polish Army, representatives of churches and religious associations will arrive.
On Monday, TVN24 will feature a live broadcast of the first session of the Sejm of the 10th term and a special program.
