Donald Tusk was detained in Wiśniewo near Mława for excessive speed in built-up areas – Interia reported. It was reported that he was driving 107 km / h. He received a fine of PLN 500, and his driving license was kept for three months. The chairman of the Civic Platform announced that he accepted the sentence “without discussion”.
Interia journalists described that the situation happened before 11 o’clock in the town of Wiśniewo near Mława in Mazovia.
– The police detained a 64-year-old Skoda driver who exceeded the speed by over 50 km / h in built-up areas. His driving license was taken from him and he was fined, the spokeswoman for the County Police Headquarters in Mława, Anna Pawłowska, spokeswoman for Interia.
Donald Tusk on his Twitter profile, he judged that the penalty was adequate. “I accepted it without discussion,” he wrote. He added that he also received ten penalty points.
Police officers have the right to withdraw the driving license during the inspection, inter alia, when the driver exceeds the speed in built-up areas by a minimum of 50 km / h or when he causes a road accident, collision or a traffic hazard.
The driving license may be withheld for a minimum of three months. In the case of traffic offenses, this time is extended.
