– The suspicious amount of public spending, established as a result of the National Revenue Administration's control, has reached PLN 100 billion – said Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a press conference. Actions are being carried out in 90 entities. The head of government added that there are currently over 60 notifications to the prosecutor's office in connection with these cases.
According to information provided by the Prime Minister, cases are being conducted in 90 entities, the proceedings concern PLN 100 billion, and the amount to be returned at the moment is PLN 5 billion.
Two hundred controllers are handling the cases.
The Prime Minister said that 200 auditors work on these cases every day. – The amount of public funds spent, this suspicious amount, that is, the one that National Revenue Administration considered suspicious and issued in violation of the regulations, that is, currently it is PLN 100 billion – he said Donald Tusk.
The Prime Minister reported that the number of notifications to law enforcement agencies in these cases is over 60. – The amount of irregularities covered by these notifications, i.e. what is already documented and what we will recover, is over PLN 3.2 billion. This has already been described in great detail and we will effectively demand the return of these funds – announced Donald Tusk.
The Prime Minister also said that in 2023, various foundations, associations and religious associations associated with the then ruling party 524 targeted subsidies were awarded with a total value of PLN 370 millionmost of them without competitions.
Donald Tusk also announced that after six months of activities, investigations, audits, there are currently 62 people from the previous ruling elite who have been charged. – This has never happened in history before our predecessors – he emphasized.
Ministers' Agreement
The first part of the press conference was attended by the Minister of Finance Andrzej Domański, the Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration Tomasz Siemoniak and the Minister of Justice Adam Bodnar.
