By 9 p.m. on Friday, firefighters had received over 300 reports related to removing the effects of strong winds and flooding of buildings and streets, said Karol Kierzkowski, spokesman for the Chief Commander of the State Fire Service.

Most interventions took place in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship. In Choszczno, during a heavy downpour, water flooded the streets and entered buildings.

According to the spokesman of the Commander-in-Chief of the State Fire Service, on Friday firefighters recorded 80 reports in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship alone, including 69 in the Choszczno County.

Additionally, 40 interventions took place in the Silesian Voivodeship, 30 in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, 25 in the Greater Poland Voivodeship, 25 in the Masovian Voivodeship and 20 in the Opole Voivodeship.
