On Tuesday, the Council of Ministers adopted a draft law on building security for the Polish-Belarusian border. PiS politician Marek Suski did not want to refer to the details of the bill. In turn, Paweł Poncyljusz from the Civic Platform, assessed that this project “shows the helplessness of Law and Justice”.

“The Council of Ministers has just adopted draft act on the construction of border security state, reported by the Ministry of the Interior and Administration – wrote on Tuesday after 7 p.m. on Twitter the Minister of Interior and Administration. He added that the project “involves the creation of a solid, high dam, also equipped with a monitoring and motion detection system.”

The draft has already been submitted to the Sejm. PiS politician Marek Suski admitted that he did not know the details of the act. – Please ask the minister who is the author of this law about it – he said. – If I do not know the law, there is no point in asking what should be included in it – he added.

– I am very skeptical about this act, because it shows the helplessness of Law and Justice. Helplessness in the sense that today’s measures applied there on the Polish-Belarusian border are not effective and helplessness in terms of the flow of immigrants, despite the fact that several thousand soldiers, border guards and the police function there – assessed Paweł Poncyljusz.

– I suspect that we will soon be dealing with another free-hand purchase, some respirator friends will earn heavy money on it, and in the end it will turn out, as with barbed wire, the wall will be delivered from Belarus – said the Civic Platform politician. – While fighting the Lukashenka regime, we will fuel him with purchases in Belarus, because it will turn out that this is where Law and Justice buddies have their interests – he added.

Paweł Poncyljusz assessed that “no such wall can counteract anything”. – As the Wall of China did not prevent the Mongol invasion, the Berlin Wall did not prevent the two German nations from uniting. Each such wall will be avoided from one side or the other. It is more of tensing muscles and quietly admitting that the measures taken so far on the Polish-Belarusian border have been ineffective – he concluded.
