The 26-year-old British superstar, from a family of Kosovar Albanians, began her career as a 14-year-old when she began posting covers of songs by famous artists. Initially working as a model, photos with her participation appeared on the covers of famous fashion magazines, such as the British issue of “Vogue” in November 2016.
In 2015, she signed a contract with Warner Bros. Records. In August of the same year, her debut single “New Love” was released, but only the next one – “Be The One” (published in October 2015) became an international hit.
Her debut album “Dua Lipa” was released in June 2017. A month later, she released the single “New Rules”, which became her best-selling single in her career so far. In 2017, Lipa was the most-listened solo artist on Spotify.

The album brought her the Grammy Award for Best Pop Album and the Brit Award for Best British Album of the Year, among others. The artist’s fans had the opportunity to see her in 2018 during the Orange Warsaw Festival.
Jessie Ware – Return with “What’s Your Pleasure?”
Jessie Ware is very well known to the Polish audience. The singer has performed in Poland many times. Ware will come back to the Open’er Festival and will play on the main stage on July 2.

In 2019, Ware delighted and surprised her fans with the single “Adore You”, which announced her fourth studio album “What’s Your Pleasure?”. The album was released in June 2020 and charmed international critics, as Ware largely departed from intimate ballad climates in favor of an interesting combination of 70s disco, 80s house with a modern approach. The closing song of “Remember Who You Are” appeared on the list of favorite songs of former US President Barack Obama.
Open’er Festival last time was in 2019. Due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 edition was canceled, as was the 2021 edition. In 2021, instead of the traditional festival, the Open’er Park project was organized – a series of intimate concerts in Gdynia’s Kolibki Park.
