The order was accepted by one of the towing companies on Sunday evening (November 7). It was about delivering a broken bus to the territory of the Masovian Voivodeship, standing in the village of Hajnówka near Podlasie.
On the spot, the company’s employees found a Volkswagen, from which operating fluids were leaking. However, the commissioner was nowhere to be found. When they opened the vehicle door, there were seven men in the cargo area.
They explained that they entered the bus themselves and did not know who owned it
The policemen called to the scene determined that the men from the bus were Iraqi citizens who had illegally entered Poland.
– They explained that they entered the car parked in the parking lot themselves and did not know who owned it. They were handed over to the Border Guard officers, says Deputy Inspector Tomasz Krupa, spokesman for the Podlasie Police.
The Volkswagen was towed, but not to the Mazowieckie Voivodeship, but to a guarded car park.
– Now the policemen are explaining the detailed circumstances of this unusual order – emphasizes the sub-inspector. Groats.
