The Kacza family went for a walk through the center of Warsaw. A flock of mother and twelve little ducklings decided to cross one of the widest and busiest streets of the capital.

Their route led from the square behind the Iron Gate towards the pond in the Saski Garden.

“The mother of the young ducklings decided to cross the wide, dual carriageway Marszałkowska Street and the tram tracks in an absolutely undesignated place, at the height of the tram stops. However, the police and city guards showed understanding for the ducks' nature and instead of admonishing them – they escorted this unusual spring walk, stopping for a few minutes of traffic of bicycles, cars and trams. No one protested,” the city guard describes in a statement.

The duck family arrived safely at the park.
