A serious accident on national road number 15 near Milicz (Lower Silesian Voivodeship). A speeding passenger car hit a stationary garbage truck with two men working there. One of them was taken to hospital with injuries. The police detained the driver’s driving license and are investigating a road accident.
The incident took place on the morning of October 18 on national road number 15 in Dziadkowo near Milicz. The services received information about a collision between a passenger car and a truck. The Stop Cham website published a video showing two men operating a garbage truck. At one point, a passenger car hits it at high speed. One of the workers jumps to the right, is caught by the vehicle and falls onto the road.

The Volunteer Fire Department from Cieszków posted photos from the incident on social media, showing that a passenger car crashed into the back of a garbage truck standing on the side of the road. “The activities lasted about six hours, and during the activities the national road was blocked and firefighters made a detour through nearby towns,” the team informed.

The police say more about the incident. – According to the police’s findings, the driver of the Audi was not careful when passing a stationary vehicle and hit its rear. He hit an employee who was operating the machine. The injured man was taken to hospital. We suspended the driving license of the passenger car driver – said Sub-Inspector Sławomir Waleński, press officer of the district headquarters in Milicz.
