This year, the Polish Eagles Film Awards are awarded for the 24th time. Most nominations – 13 – were received by Jan P. Matuszyński’s film “Let there be no traces”. 10 nominations were won by Wojciech Smarzowski’s “Wesele” and “All our fears” by Łukasz Ronduda and Łukasz Gutt – seven.
The Polish Film Awards Eagles, i.e. the Awards of the Polish Film Academy, are awarded for the 24th time. The Polish Film Academy, which brings together film industry professionals, awards its awards in several categories.
The gala takes place at the Teatr Polski im. Arnold Szyfman in Warsaw. This year, the creators of Jan P. Matuszyński’s “Let There Are No Traces”, “Wesele” by Wojciech Smarzowski and “All Our Fears” by Łukasz Ronduda and Łukasz Gutt have the chance to win the most.
According to the Polish Film Academy, this year the nominees were selected in the Main Competition from among 71 submitted films. In the Best Documentary Film category, candidates for the statuette were selected from among 67 titles. 19 productions were submitted to the Best Film Series category.
Eagle for the achievements of life will be picked up by Jerzy Skolimowski.
