It seems to me that the scenario of accelerated elections becomes very probable – stated Włodzimierz Cimoszewicz, MEP in “Fakty po Faktach”. The former prime minister and former foreign minister admitted that voting in spring is a scenario “more realistic than ever before”. – Because the power of Jarosław Kaczyński hangs by a thread – he argued.
Cimoszewicz, former prime minister and former minister of foreign affairs, spoke in TVN24’s “Fakty po Faktach” on the possible holding of early parliamentary elections in Poland.
Cimoszewicz: The elections in spring are a more realistic scenario than ever before
When asked if the spring elections were a realistic scenario, he said it was “more realistic than ever before”. – Because Kaczynski’s power hangs in the balance – he argued.
– If the power of Kaczyński depends on the morning mood of Mr. (Paweł – ed.) Kukiz, an outstanding statesman, it means that today it is not Kukiz that hangs at Kaczyński’s door handle, but the opposite. I suppose that the location is not very comfortable – commented the TVN24 guest. In his opinion, “if Kaczyński was sure that he would win the elections, he would be organizing them very quickly at the moment.” – In this way, it would also prevent further divisions in this only so-called United Right, he added.
– It seems to me that the scenario of early elections – especially since the opposition is still not somehow organized in a broader agreement – becomes very likely – assessed Cimoszewicz.
