A girl has been charged with murdering her severely disabled 10-year-old son.
Pembe Mehmetaliogullari, 47, from Hove, is accused of killing her son, Mustafa, who lived with each bodily and psychological disabilities.
Mustafa died on 30 September 2018 and autopsy and toxicology examinations each prompt his loss of life was as a result of administration of non-prescribed treatment, Sussex Police mentioned.
He died on the Royal Alexandra Kids’s Hospital in Brighton, three days after he was admitted for remedy.
He and his mom had been dwelling at Eastview Terrace, Sedlescombe, in East Sussex, earlier than he was admitted.
Ms Mehmetaliogullari appeared at Brighton Magistrates’ Court docket on Saturday. She was remanded in custody to seem at Lewes Crown Court docket on Tuesday.
It follows a posh investigation by the East Sussex Safeguarding Investigations Unit.
